9 May 2015 . . . . Plenty of Grasshopper Warblers around today - first time I've heard them this year. Started my butterfly recording for the year with a trip to Leitir Fura and saw Orange Tip, Speckled Wood, Green-veined White and Peacock.

13 May 2015 . . . . At Neist Point with the Skye U3A Nature Group. No cetaceans, but plenty of sea birds.

18 May 2015 . . . . The Greylags and Mallards were at Skinadin as usual this morning, but with them was a Canada Goose.

26 May 2015 . . . . Not had the moth trap out much so far this year, but had a go last night and caught Glaucous Shears, Small Phoenix, Pale-shouldered Brocade and Ruddy Highflyer.
